Cause / 103

1. Latch pivot pins rusted. (Usually occurs on outside installations or in high humidity areas such as vehicle wash bays). 2. Tension spring broken. 3. Latch caable needs adjustment.

Repair / 103

1. Remove covers, oil latch mechanism. Activate latch mechanism several times with latch handle to allow oil to penetrate. 2. Replace broken spring. 3. Adjust clamp at cable end.
